• Implant Retained Dentures

• Partial Dentures

​

A partial denture is specially made to include natural-looking teeth that blend in seamlessly with your own teeth. The new teeth are supported on a strong, lightweight framework made of either acrylics, metal, or a  combination of both . A partial denture is designed to accurately fit around your own teeth and clip into place for a stable fit.

 

Why have a partial denture?

 

After losing one or more teeth, your remaining natural teeth start moving into the adjacent empty spaces. This movement causes bone loss around the roots of your existing teeth, which in turn affects how your mouth looks. Wearing a partial denture will fill gaps created by missing teeth. It keeps the natural shape of your mouth, so you can smile with confidence again.

• Immediate Dentures

​

Immediate dentures are dentures(full and partials) that are fitted immediately after your teeth have been extracted. This enables you to have a natural-looking smile without waiting before you dentures are manufactured. The immediate complete or partial dentures are made in advance, so you can wear them home the same day as your teeth are extracted. Immediate dentures aid in restoring your natural mouth shape and allow you to continue to talk, and chew even as the bones and gums in the mouth are healing. You will not need to be  ’toothless’ for any period of time.

Having your remaining teeth extracted is a decision that you would need to discuss with your own dentist first. We are happy to accept referrals from your dentist, or we can put you in touch with a dentist to help you determine your treatment plan. • Relines & Repairs

​

Over time, your gums and bones shrink and create a space under your dentures. You may notice more food gets underneath the dentures, resulting in reduced chewing efficiency, and more sores. Loose, ill-fitting dentures can cause rubbing, pressure points and sore spots. Denture relines adjust the fit of your dentures to compensate for gradual bone loss. All types of dentures should receive a reline every one to three years to preserve the bone under the dentures and keep the gums healthy.
